Admissions

The pre-school is registered to accept up to 28 children at each session and parents are encouraged to visit the pre-school with their child before they start so that they are familiar with the pre-school.

We take children from the age of 2 and places are charged at £20.25 per session (3 hours). For children over 3 years old we can offer up to 15 hours free funding per week from the Government, with any unfunded sessions charged at £6.75 per hour. This may be taken how parents choose, providing we have enough spaces available in the sessions requested. From April 2024 we will also be supporting the 15 hours free funding for eligible 2 year olds (working families).

We also accept funding from working parents who are eligible for the extended entitlement, which provides an additional 15 hours of funding, and so a total of 30 hours per week (although preschool is limited to 29 hours per week).

As part of Early Education Funding, funded children are able to attend a morning session 9am – 12pm, an afternoon session 12.30pm – 3.30pm or all day, 9am – 3.30pm with lunch at 12 noon. Funded children who are attending a morning or afternoon session may also stay for lunch.

We have an Admissions Policy  and priority is given to families in Marlow Bottom. However, we regularly accept children from further afield, such as Marlow, High Wycombe and Flackwell Heath.

We recommend that 2 year olds attend at least two morning sessions per week and 3-5 year olds up to five sessions per week. We prefer afternoon sessions to be attended only by children who are due to start school the following September, although we can be flexible. The choice of sessions is subject to availability.
